Celebrated my birthday here. They went out of the way to make my meal and celebration a marvelous event. It started with the table being decorated followed by complimentary champagne, The bread basket came with butter and a delicious liver pate. Then the most amazing ribeye. The staff was so attentive. I loved every single minute. Even the happy Birthday song. The cobbler is amazing. You have to try that too. Next time you're in borrego make a point of coming to Coyote steakhouse. It's worth it

This place is a gem! Martini’s are awesome, the food is good, the service is loving and the experience is always memorable thanks to the mid-century vibe and the careful supervision of Ramon, the maitre-d!

Stayed many times. Pool is very nice and restaurant has delicious food. Close walk/drive to Palm Canyon hike.

Worst restaurant I've ever been to in my entire life! Waited 2 and a half hours to receive our meal. The lobster was spoiled, the steak was bad, the burger was raw, and everything was cold. On top of that, while waiting for our meal, I noticed a mouse crawling across the floor in the adjoining gallery. Wasted 3 hours of my evening, and by the time we left the restaurant, nothing in town was open so we all went hungry for the night. They should be ashamed! The only saving grace is that they comped our entire meal because it was inedible. Eat at your own risk!

This is a fine dining experience. So it 's pricey but worth it. Come with a big appetite too! I has the Cornish game hen with the wild rice and veggies. The flavor of the hen was so savory and juicy. The wild rice was so tasty too with the different flavors in it. Also had the side of beets and spinach. It was a large portion for a side, so I couldn 't finish it, but it was also very good and refreshing. My son had the filet mignon and said that that was the best steak he 's ever had. Husband had the top sirloin and said it was good too. They were very attentive and gave us lemon sorbet palette cleansers and free champagne (though we are not drinkers). We 'd probably come back again if we 're ever in town again and willing to spend a lot of money and have a big appetite.
