Hot 'n' Tasty - Boroondara

My family has been coming to this restaurant for years to enjoy their delicious fish and chips. We love that they never feel greasy or unhealthy. The chips are not overly crunchy like at other places. We usually opt for grilled fish, but the battered fish is also a favorite. The steak sandwich was a hit with me as well. The staff puts in a lot of effort and we truly appreciate their hard work. I always make sure to support local businesses like this one to help them thrive.

Fish actually tastes like fish. Nothing fancy inside or out but once you have it you'll definitely be running back for more. Lemon is included and prices are super reasonable. Never too soggy which is such a plus. Can't recommend enough for a local fish and chips shop!

I can't remember the last time I had flake from a fish and chip shop and could actually taste it. It is usually paper thin and tasteless and overwhelmed by batter. The flake is cut to order and cooked how you like it. Good potato cakes. Friendly service, lemon included.
