L'olivier - Bormes-les-Mimosas

Visited late August with family on their recommendation. The restaurant is a bit off the tourist track and yes the tables are close to the road, but the menu is good value for money with interesting menu choices which change monthly. The service could have been a bit friendlier but it was prompt without any particular delay. You should be aware that the internet was 'down ' so were unable to pay on a card. Our family have visited the restaurant on multiple occasions and the internet is always 'down '. There is only a small note inside the menu stating 'cash only '. I would have given a higher score had it not been for the card issue and a slightly more welcoming approach. However, the quality/price of the food outweighed the negatives.

Excellent 3 course set menu at €21 ; food visibly prepared to order in the kitchen so faster service unthinkable . Enjoyed every course :

We visited this restaurant twice and really enjoyed the set lunch. Main course and dessert for only 19 euros and food was absolutely delicious. Sea bass and chicken gibelotte were very well presented and very tasty. Desserts very light and delicate.

To discover absolutely, both for the master of the places, and for the map. We spent an exceptional evening, the welcome is warm and looks like the house. the kitchen with the influences of the meeting was excellent, we enjoyed. a birthday that we will not forget with this delicious moment, don’t change anything!

Very good reception, very friendly to listen to its guests, wonderful cuisine beyond our expectations. I highly recommend. Thanks again for this very pleasant moment.
