Bidra med feedbackWe went to Le Winch for a wonderful evening recently to celebrate a friends birthday. Anne Marie and her husband pulled out all the stops as always and served us freshly cooked prawns and seabass which were delicious! They have an impressive selection of top end rose wine to choose from and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We had such a lovely night and my friends birthday was made all the more memorable by the generous hospitality. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit! Love this place!
I have mixed feelings on this place. While the owner is a delight of a lady, and the location is brilliant, this place really needs to up its game. The food was ghastly, and we even went a second time just to make sure it wasn't a bad night. The kitchen is so small and you can see right inside that it is unclean. We had the salt baked fish and it was so incredibly dry. I had the seafood pasta the first time we went, and it had a really odd smell to it. This place desperately needs an overhaul. The starter 'nems' were just deep fried Picard samosas and spring rolls, and everything comes with this odd little 'artwork' like cut up vegetables speared into the top of a pineapple. If they redirected the effort they put into making these unnecessary and 'fancy' extras on the plate into the food and cleanliness, I think this place could do much better. Stop by for drinks and to enjoy the proprietor and when they get random funny little singers and John st. john. Excellent people watching. Maybe get a bottle of rose over the house rose though, it is a bit ropey and tough to swallow.
