They don't make milkshakes from the homemade ice cream. It makes me wonder why. They also have no restrooms available. All in all if you need a quick stop coming through town you should pick someplace else. Someplace that's more comfortable here you have to sit outside on the blacktop.

Stopped by for a treat on the way home from camping. Love that there are walk up and drive thru options (since we had the doggos, drive thru is so much easier! . Everyone had a tasty treat PB malt for him, Chocolate shake for me, and a Pup cup topped with a dog treat for a girls. Thanks for a great experience see you again soon :

This is as good as it gets on the small-town ice cream circuit. I began going here as a teenager, back when it was still Tastee-Freez ; it was THE reason to make the trek to Boonville and the quality was unbeatable for the price. I no longer live in the Evansville area and have visited plenty of other über-Americana ice cream shops in the years since, yet I still feel this is the best I 've come across. Whenever I visit Evansville, I 'm once again all too willing to make a detour for TF. The Hoosier Experience just isn 't complete until you 've had real talk and a peanut butter milkshake with friends at a TF picnic table, as the sun sets and mosquitos bum-rush you from all sides. Ahhh, to be young again...

This place has the best ice cream. Also hotdogs and other delicious treats. They are expanding their menu. They now have cinnamon rolls. I like the shakes.
