Bidra med feedbackIf you 've never been to a typical German Rhineland area restaurant this may be the one. I 'd describe it as a classical schnitzel restaurant . Quality of the food is good average (and average does mean perfectly fine, simply not unusually good or totally outstanding),...and so are the prices. I don 't find the staff particularly friendly which adds to the authentic experience. The Nolden is almost exclusively frequented by locals, most of the from Endenich where the restaurant is located. You may want to give it a try when you are planning to watch a movie at the Rex (most beautiful cinema in the whole region) or see a rock concert at the Harmonie which are just arounbd the corner. Special featur of the Nolden are the Kegel lanes in the basement (German kind of bowling sports) which you pay by the hour.
This is a typical German pub that serves the usual pub bur, beer and regional weine. the quality of eating is good for a pub. massive schnitzels accompanied by chips and by partial. what the pub highlights are the 9-pin bowling alley (kitchen) in the page...Rooms call to reserve a gasse. they are cheap and fun for an evening.
We toured in the towns of the land of North Rhine-Westphalia, which were already after köln and düsseldorf, and when we visited bonn, the former capital of western Germany found this authentic taverne. the rustic interieur is really beautiful, big decor, chic furniture and tasty furnishings...through, there is even a bowling alley when you are on for a game. we ordered a nice bitburger beer while we have penetrated the menu, and at the end we both decided to have jägerschnitzel, this was served with mushroom engraving and kartoffeln. our meal has arrived after a short wait and everything I can say is that this is the best meal we had on our 10 days holiday the carving was delicious, a huge part smoothed in delicious gravure with perfectly cooked carrots, a fantastic filling meal. this was the first time that I had tried jägerschnitzel jäger schäger sch this is a family owed and led taverne served traditional German cuisine and is a must go when they visit this very interesting city. very easy to find on magdalenenen road. opening times are; Monday to Sunday, 11.30 a.m. to 2 a.m. then 4.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. excellent meal and a tavern worth a visit.
Good beer, ok’ish food and not overpriced. beautiful atmosphere, completely real German art restaurant. not the best place to have lunch because the service is slow and little disorganized. good place for a couple of drinks and scumbags.
Had lunch here with a group of colleagues, it was quite late and the waiters quite evidently were very eager to leave, and they were really very unfriendly. Which, on the other hand, made for a very quick service. Food was good (I had red...perch with potatoes and broccoli) and beer was good as well. Reasonably priced.
