Petar's - Bonita Springs

Our food was EXCELLENT! We wisely sat at the bar so we could watch the food being prepared. Every dish is prepared individually. The gazpacho was tasty and very thick. The special ravioli with short rib ragout as the filling was amazingly tasty. We both had the pork belly with two large scallops and it was sumptuous. There was plenty of meat on the pork belly, and the scallops were perfectly prepared with no grit whatever. The Demi glacé and sauce was outstanding. The special key lime creme brulee was so smooth and velvety. I wish the place was near home. The wine list was very good and we had a wine that is delicious but not east to find.It is not s place to bring kids. Parking was close and easy to access. The owners were willing to answer questions. Our Server, Liz, was very friendly and very attentive. All around great dinner! Kid-friendliness: Not for kids

I arrived for the first time and realized that Peter humiliated an employee. For a mistake that could be corrected by talking. I watched as he yelled at some employees, which I did not feel comfortable with and I left with my family.

Thoroughly Impressed!We have been wanting to try Petar's and we went tonight. The staff were amazing and the food even more amazing. The service is above and beyond and the food was perfect. Had opportunity to thank the Chef, and the staff. We will be back again, probably next week.Great value, great service and great food!
