Bidra med feedbackI absolutely love Iguana Mia! It was my first visit, and I can’t wait to return! The place was bustling when we got there for dinner (and we arrived early!), but fortunately...
The food and service were outstanding. The margaritas were fantastic. There's plenty of parking available, and it's a fun place to dine. You can choose to eat indoors or outdoors. The homemade chips and salsa were superb.
Our server was very polite, but it was clear that they were overwhelmed and tensions were high among the waitstaff. I wouldn’t recommend going on Sundays, especially during kids' night. My children are well-behaved, but the atmosphere felt like a chaotic Chuck E. Cheese, with noise levels comparable to being in the front row of a concert. As for the food, I would have been better off at Taco Bell and saved myself $50. I had visited before and enjoyed my meal, but this time the beef had an odd taste, and I ended up leaving most of my dish untouched. I just wanted to get out of there. Any new Mexican restaurant opening in the Naples, Bonita Springs, or Estero area would likely thrive in comparison to this place. Clearly, there’s a demand for authentic Mexican cuisine in Lee and Collier Counties, Florida.
We visited this restaurant for Cinco de Mayo, anticipating a crowded experience. We were just looking to enjoy some drinks along with chips and salsa. The drinks were fantastic and reasonably priced, and we appreciated relaxing in the outdoor area during the long wait—unfortunately, they didn't serve chips and salsa outside. Once we were finally seated, we didn't mind the wait, but our server was quite rude, and it was unbearably hot inside, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. The food was disappointing as well; we had experienced much better at another Mexican restaurant down the street that offered more variety, better quality, and lower prices. Ultimately, we decided to leave because of the heat and our waitress's attitude. I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere!
I ordered the chicken fajitas, and they were decent but not particularly special. I'm not a fan of tequila, but with $2 margaritas, I thought, why not give it a try? They were a little strong, but still enjoyable.
