Oyster Shed - Bongaree

Brooklyn is the most amazing waitress, which is a good thing for a business. front line so important. then the most amazing fresh seafood lunch was supported. we literally couldn't blame any part of our experience. our new favorite place. wow!

Lunched here on Friday 18th. Pretty good. Overpriced a bit, but not exorbitant. Paying for the view. I asked one of the staff to turn the volume of the music down, as we had to sit inside with no spare tables outside, but that was ignored My wife liked the chips. Give it four stars, but unlikely to return.

Ordered the Barramundi assuming it was Australian but was shocked to see after I had ordered, it was frozen and from another country, tasted odd and they also advertised that their tartare sauce was home made but it was just those squeeze packs. Salad was not too bad but for the $25 and the 1 hour wait I wont be back. Ever!

Absolutely disgusted by the rude staff and wait time. It took 2.5 hours to receive most of our meals. One never arrived. There were about 20 customers in the same boat complaining whilst waiting. Guys, you need to get organised otherwise you will go out of business. Never ever again.

Had 1/2 dozen oyster at the oyster shed sandstone point .first oyster I had I noticed that they where not very hot and the sauce was a bit dried out , the second one I tried was just slime . I started gagging and spat it out . So I took them back and told them there is something wrong with them . I also ask if they where freshly cooked or pre heated they could not answer me . I was told they would give me a new lot . After waiting to get them they then said no we won't give you fresh one just heated them more . Ok so I tried them and strait into the bin . Oyster shed that has fresh oysters on display and serves you pre cooked oysters sitting in a fridge all day . Yuck don't waist your money.
