Bidra med feedbackSuper sad to say that Mr. Tandoori’s is not what it once was. The original owner’s recipes were top notch and much different than they are now. The dishes lack Indian spices which give it that great punch of flavor. The chicken tikka masala was our whole family’s favorite at one time and while the spice is there the flavor is not, it mainly tastes like tomato sauce and is very runny. The saag used to be my favorite, the lamb and paneer are still delicious but again the sauce was runny and lacked flavor. This makes me so sad, Mr. Tandoori’s was one of my favorite places that offered something different in Pueblo. Unfortunately the change of ownership really affected the value by raising prices even more and the taste of the food at this restaurant. We have dined in and done take out a few times hoping it would improve and it hasn’t. :
We stopped at this restaurant on our way back to Denver. Our expectations were low given this is the only indian restaurant in Pueblo and we reached at a very odd time (4pm). We were impressed to say the least. All Appetizers, main courses and drinks were amazing and the chef agreed to cook us a delicious flavourful vegetable biriyani though it is not in the regular menu. Absolutely recommend this for everyone travelling down south craving flavourful Indian cuisine.
Excellent Indian right in the heart of Pueblo, very authentic, large portions, very fresh. Loved the chicken curry and the garlic Naan.
The new owners have not kept the quality it used to have. We don't eat there anymore.
Best Indian food in town. We have been here many times and not found anything we haven't liked. The spice levels are always spot on. We came for dinner recently. The staff is always so efficient, helpful and friendly. Omg the cucumber water is amazing. We tried.. Chicken Tikka masala Lamb Tikka masala Garlic naan Rice pudding. They have the best chip latte tea I have ever tasted. Definitely a favorite place!
