Bidra med feedbackLong waits and limited seating. Short menu with limited offers. Staff was super nice but overwhelmed. Place is filled with skiers and it gets crowded They have live music which could make it hard talk. They ran out of wings
We arrived at Bolton and asked the front desk staff what time the kitchen closed. 9 pm we were told. Another family member went to the desk and asked the same question. Same answer 9 pm. We have 4 children clamoring for dinner. When we show up at 8:15 the guy at the restaurant said we close at 8. I'd give them negative five stars if that was an option.
My boyfriend and I went to Bolton to ski, we wanted to get dinner. This is my second time coming to this restaurant, my first experience was devine however, my second was disappointing because we spent $120 with a to-go order (12 wings and the chicken plate) our chicken plate lacked French fries and Mac and cheese. We did not realize this until after leaving however, your runners and servers need to do a better job of checking the orders (I experienced waiters bringing the wrong food to a table as well). I’m unsure if I will eat here again.
I had been looking forward to having some drinks at James Moore Tavern for some time. Sent the kids off to ski and a friend and I sat at the bar. I'll tell you what, nothing can ruin an evening quicker than a rude bartender. They're a dime a dozen and I really don't understand why. The ladies hostessing and serving were beyond nice. Accommodating, pleasant, helpful are all words I'd use to describe the servers and staff at Bolton Vally. The barkeep? He did not greet us, not a hello or welcome, he made zero conversation. During the course of our time there he never asked if we wanted food or another drink. Dude didn't even thank me when he handed me my check for 3 rounds of beer at $18 a pop. I've worked in service for 25 years. The fact this kid was behind the bar is baffling when you have all these personable ladies who would rule back there. I understand bartender is a coveted position, historically giving it a bit of status elevation over servers. I saw how this guy interacted with your staff. Staff members who are skilled in customer relations and also just human relations behind the bar makes all the difference in the world.
Best burger and fries I've had anywhere. Service and music also top notch.
