Trattoria Del Ghiottone - BOLOGNA

Some times you realize that guides like Michelin, Espresso or Gambero Rosso, by accident, are missing great places like this one. I very seldom would give a place 5 stars, but this one deserves every single one, from service to food including an interesting wine list. I also had the honor to meet the skilled sfoglina who was responsible for the amazing lasagne. It is certainly not in the tourist circuit, it 's not located downtown Bologna, but it 's worth the driving.

Classic Italian trattoria. They specialize and focused on traditional food from bologna. The owner is a nice lady who is definitely helpful if you are undecided. Quality and portions of the food really good. I gave a 3 star because the place is a bit small therefore they are forced to turn many tables. It's quite busy and so it can get laud and noisy and pretty warm if you are setting inside. Really hope to come back again, because the lasagne were superb!

Found the portion small. 1.5€ for still water that’s not bottled? So we pay for the tap water?
