Bidra med feedbackSome of the best gelato we had in Italy. Creative flavor combinations and an incredible mouthfeel. The “lab” is right on site- meaning they are making it in the shop. Skip the tourist storefronts and walk ten minutes for a treat.
I love gelato. I have tried all the best in Florence, Milan and various cities around the world claiming to have great gelato. La Sorbetteria in Bologna is the best I have found. The texture is soft, creamy and rich without losing any of the exquisite flavor. It is hard to describe how amazed I was when I tasted their gelato. My only regret is that I am not back in the U.S., far from La Sorbetteria.
After a long hot day walking around Bologna, we were eager for a gelato. The queue was long enough for it to be a good sign but not so long that we were discouraged. The queueing and payment systems were really efficient so in the end we didn’t wait that long. There is a good choice of flavours, even if most are quite classic. The execution of the flavours was really excellent, the fior di latte and strawberry especially. It was just what we needed.
The gelato at La Sorbetteria Castiglione was the best we had on our 2-week honeymoon in Italy. The staff was pleasant and they have a great variety of flavors.
Friendly staff, smells delicious, a/c, clean bathroom, great strawberries and yummy lemonade with ice! It’s 95 degrees today. Highly recommend.
