Bidra med feedbackVery nice and particular place, with 3 kitchens where you can eat different things
The beauty of Borgo Mameli... There is so much lived citizen in these environments dismissed by the ancient function of barracks and delivered to the new: not only of catering, but of anticonformism implemented even in the unusual furnishings where everything, without restyling, has its found patina. There is so much good food: black garlic, curcuma, hummus of chickpeas wisely tuned to fresh and genuine raw materials, not an experimental cocozzaglia of flavors... You order with the water in your mouth and you do not remain disappointed. There is so much human courtesy in this place, courtesy that pampers the customer, not aimed at flattering it, but that which tastes of tolerance of respect and culture... Good boys! Borgo Mameli closes 31 October for this year, but reopens next May. I can't wait to get back.
What to say.. a breathtaking location! Suddenly you are immersed in another era, isolated from the modern city but practically in the heart of the city. Really very particular, it is worth enjoying the particularity of the location. Very good food, there is for all tastes for really! Many kioske with many varieties and delicious, from pizza, to the first, cutters, gourmet fish (really great fish, I recommend it a lot), vegan alternatives, excellent wines and drinks.. In short, so much variety. Friendly and helpful staff, perhaps they are in a few dates the amount of people and the amplitude of the location; to every very nice and pleasant. I recommend booking.
Maurizio is a great landlord, food and impeccable service. House atmosphere. Congratulations
We stayed at Borgo Mameli for brunch. The cost is 22 euro per person excluding service (3€, drinks (e.g. beer €6 and coffee (1.5€). You choose different alternatives from a dedicated menu. It's been a nice experience, but I think it's kind of expensive than it was.
