Bidra med feedbackThis place is so cool. very “Trend” and a lot of space to sit! great for big groups.
Perfect place when they are new in the city and looking for a flowering atmosphere with great options.
Upon arrival, my partner approached the host at the till to ask whether we should order food at the table or there. The host very impatiently almost shouted at him as my partner couldn’t see from there where he wanted to sit. After lunch, my partner went back to the till to pay and the host asked for the table number, which we had not been given. My partner said so and while pointing at the table for ease the host whispered “you really don’t get it...” as if he was stupid or something! My partner quite annoyed asked him to repeat but the host didn’t show any regret for insulting him, furthermore he continued arguing with him. He couldn’t even listen that we were not given a table number by his staff...! This is a very silly situation to experience and wouldn’t even be worth a mention however this is something you would never expect as a customer so we thought we would mention it here to avoid any similar experience to others... take note of your table number if you still want to go there! :
Pizza Forno is wonderful very tasty and the price is friendly (4 slices of pizza and a mini sandwich costed us 10 euros) One espresso from Al Bar was 1.1 euros There was a terrible guy from the staff that started shouting at us in Italian and insisted we leave our table cause we also bought food from across the way. We explained him that we did not knew this rule as this place is basically a food market so from our experience with these places you can eat anywhere. He continued shouting in English for another good couple of seconds, instead of calmly explaining the situation. Hence my review is as poor as possible!
We had read reviews of the Mercato delle Erbe, and were ready for lunch so once we found it we were attracted to the table laid out for service. It only later became apparent that there were other tables where you can sit having used the other outlets in the food court area. To an extent we were confused and felt that we had been trapped by Altro?. The service was fine, the chicken salad excellent, and the pasta dishes were good quality. However tha prices are high here compared to what you may find elsewhere, but Bologna Centre is expensive compared to other towns in the region.
