Choy's Chinese Restaurant - Boissevain

This restaurant offers unique food at a somewhat reasonable price. Buffet is worth the try! Been here twice, the second time we went the food was a bit on the greasy spectrum however not too overwhelming. I recommend not getting the coffee if you are used to McDonalds or Tim's coffees.

Chinese or Canadian food they have buffet Thursday Friday at noon and a Sunday shrimp buffet too. Dine in or take out-with 10% savings. Excellent food.

Decor needs updating, but fast and friendly service. Staff are welcoming. The food is very good. Buffet is great!

Coming back from the Peace Gardens, we were looking for a place to eat. We saw a sign on the highway and went searching for it. Small place, old open style. But the dedication to service that the young man and women had was phenomenal. We ordered the dinner for 6, with additional wonton soup. All dishes were fresh, piping hot, crunchy, like it should be. Service was a little slow as it was busy and the only place open on Labor Day. Lots of food left to take home. We ordered an an appetizer of fried wonton that got missed, told them don't worry about it. When we went to pay, they gave us the wonton free. Snacked on it on way home, very good. I feel the only thing they could do to improve the dishes, is to not use canned mushrooms or rinse and soak them longer.

Small mom and pop type place. The food and service are GREAT! I will say the crunchy shrimp had too much batter more batter than shrimp. But the chicken balls, veggies, and egg rolls were amazing. I will definitely go here again and again!
