Even during a pandemic, this amazing little hole-in-the-wall won't fail to provide guests with the same quality food and experience every time. The food is made to order, so expect a little wait. It's worth it. Every bite is like a flavor adventure through a porteño's dream. You will salivate just thinking about it (the food I mean). Not to mention the nostalgia for those who are familiar with the Argentine delicacies that are empanadas. Equally impressive was the Tango Sub, a milanesa sandwich (flat steak that is breaded and fried, with tomato, lettuce, onion). Their churros are on par with what you'd expect from, say, Disneyland. Let's keep this place in business forever! NEGATIVES: the place is a little drafty, and quite tight for space. I do wish the empanadas were served with a side of limón wedges or a salsa of some sort. PRICE: $7-10 per person. Can't wait to return on my next visit to Boise! Would love to try those dessert empanadas.
Passing through Boise I'm going to have to come back to town just to eat empanadas here- absolutely amazing! I used to be sad about Taco Bell getting rid of their caramel apple empanadas but the dulce de leche empanada here destroys that one with oozing gooey deliciousness, just incredible!
Absolutely delicious empanadas. The savory options are tasteful and fill and the dessert empanadas are decadent. It takes a little time to prepare them / to fry them as soon as you order on the counter, so be prepared when you are in a hurry, but it felt very reasonable I think I waited about ten minutes to be completed on my order, including a few orders before mine. I had a great experience every time I come here. There are parking spaces on the back, and although there is a small space, there are seating inside and a bit outside.
First time here, what a treat! The empanada crust was perfect, and the fillings are delicious. Get the breakfast empanada. These folks know how to scramble an egg. :
I've been here a couple of times and have really enjoyed it both times. I had the gaucho and the Moleh as savory and the Dulce de Leche for sweet. The only downsides were a bit of a wait time and the Dulce de Leche was really messy, but that's not a bad thing!
