Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem in a residential area. the funghi pizza was so good that I had to order pizza to take away. the staff was friendly and efficient. they were patient with my poor Spanish. the restaurant itself is small, but beautifully designed.
We went here after reading some great reviews and the pizza we ate was very nice! what felt the most unpleasant was that the waitress was rude for us to learn, we knew only a little spanish. at the entry we asked if they do. an English menu like some restaurants in bogota and some dont, it was neither a problem, but she rolled her eyes. After we only have 1 menu, if there are 3 of us, we asked for more menus, then she ran at her colleagues, which is the point when they don't read spanish. she then went out of her to quickly talk Spanish trying to prove a point. I think she had a bad day. After I rolled her eyes further when I asked no ice in my drink, I think any action was an inconvenience for her. we were polite throughout the time, but did not go back and was disappointed with the treatment.
Since I came back to Bogota, after almost 2 years, I passed through this cozy restaurant in my favorite neighborhood (La Macarena) many times and it was always full booked and extra people waiting for a table. I had the good luck to visit it...today, on Sunday evening and I understood why it's is famous. It is known by its stone oven pizzas but I tried Lomo en Salsa de Trufa which I rather recommend. It is simply delicious! And healthy, by the way. I enjoyed with their home wine a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. So Anna Otto is a very good option for Sunday evening, as most of the restaurants are closed.
Lovely little restaurant offering authentic Italian thin-crust pizza. 4 starts instead of 5 because of the few options from which to choose on the menu
In Bogotá, pizza places are all over the city. But Anna Otto is different: stone oven, excellent ingredients and a very nice ambience. I tried the cheese pizza and came back the next day for the Anna Otto', that was even better. So...definitely recommendable!!!!
