Bidra med feedbackFar away the best pine empanadas in the sector, if they find very rich cheese. They have a lot of rich things. The Arab cakes they have there are also very good.
The Ambassador's empanadas are really good, rich filling and unmatched, degadisima and tasty dough. They sell very good fresh oysters!!
The Ambassador hasn't changed a hair since he came with my parents in the '80s. You go into the place and there's even the same smell. It was almost the only place where you could buy imported things (when it was a party day I played a Toblerone or a Starbust, for example). Now your imported food offer is no longer exclusive, but what remains unique are your empanadas, and that's why I put the note on them. They are empanadas of those who obsess you, with a thin and soft dough (the corners don't crunch) and a tasty and bald pine. I sometimes have strong cravings of the Ambassador's empanadas, and no other empanada serves to placate it. The pine is made with ground meat, but I, at the risk of appearing heretic, prefer it so when the meat is good. Like the dressings are better assimilated to meat. Really, these empanadas are global. And going to the place is almost a vintage experience. It's worth it.
For me the pine empanada is the Ambassador and point. I assume it must be because I like them since I have notion and the memory of going every Sunday with my dad to look for them.
I declare myself a fan of Ambassador. My first memories are when I was a girl and I accompanied my dad to get the turkeys for Christmas... A classic! backwards! I love you from your owners to the attendees, be all granny. It's like the Café Cologne. Everything is rich. Personally, I find that pine empanadas are the best in Santiago. That dough is unique! cup/ ≤br/ I don't like pichangas, but I bought for my husband and he loves it. The other rich with filled potatoes, exquisite!
