Bidra med feedbackSurprising and undervalued jewel, which is from a simple perspective. Hidden in a plaza and away from the main street, this is an incredible restaurant deli. Had the best pastrami sandwich I had in almost 40 years. Many parking spaces, great bakery and great service.
Stopped by for soup and sandwich. Matzo ball chicken soup would've passed Grandma's test. Corned beef (lean cut) was first rate. Young server was pleasant and very attentive.
They do have good food here but I always come for the matzah ball soup. It's just so perfect and loaded with flavor. The chocolate rugaleh is also so good. Fresh rye bread upon request. They pretty much have something for every pallet. Even picky eaters will find something good to eat here.
Picked up a great lunch here! I had the pastrami on rye with thousand island dressing (so good I ate it all before I could take a picture of it). I also had a cup of their French Onion Soup very good. I highly recommend if you enjoy deli food ??
Went to another restaurant in the same shopping center that was closed so we decided to go to TooJay's, not one of my favorite delis. I ordered the Rachel which looked great in the picture on the menu. It was good but a small amount of pastrami wrapped around a lot of sauerkraut. My wife ordered the 3 scoop salad from a choice of 6 salads. She liked it
