Bidra med feedbackFrom the moment we were greeted we felt pampered. I received Mother's Day greetings immediately from server Cale! Drinks arrived before my husband even got to table. We had the dinner for two which included appetizer, soup or salad, entrees w 2 sides and a shared dessert. We had goat cheese/habanero jam (delish...not spicy just a great combo). We both choose the salad w house dressing as it is always delicious. For our entree I had the tender prime rib (wow...the au jus is amazing) with cheesy ranch potatoes and broccoli. My husband had the KC strip (it had the best char flavor) with sweet potato fries and asparagus. Our go to dessert is always the crème brûlée!! Mmm mmm mmm! Our service was on point! Dubbed “Mr Hereford,” Cale had our courses perfectly timed and was so friendly. Would highly recommend!
I ask for lemon for my water. Eventually I did get it. I had to ask for bread with my salad. And I ordered steak. When they brought it out...the runner asked if I wanted a steak knife... duh!
I ATE THERE THIS LAST SUNDAY WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF GETTING SERVED RAW CALAMARI AND SENT BACK WAS DEATHLY ILL WITHIN 30 MINUTES AND MISSED 3 DAYS WORK..... DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!
Went for lunch chicken fried chicken mashed potatoes green beans me and my friend and when they brought our plate out my friend had a hair wrapped around her green beans and laying on her plate we asked him to replace and they did replace it but it made both of us feel some kind of way about eating our green beans like there was hair and the whole pan of green beans possibly and they brought us back out and they should have complimented my friend with her meal instead of make her pay for it which she got her food out to her as soon as they can get it out but I was already eating my food so the lady that was in charge there she came back to the table and she said it's really funny we don't have any one who has hair when nobody in the kitchen has hair what kind of a response is that and to make you feel some kind of way was actually in the green beans and slung across the side of the plate. Not very good management there won't go back .
Honestly, for a higher priced restaurant, I expected more. The food was ok, not terrible but definitely overpriced for the quality. The beefy Joe was pretty good so no complaints there, but there was a bone in the grilled salmon. No point in mentioning to the server because i understand it happens and it wasn't her fault obviously but again, for a pricey restaurant, you'd expect more.. when we mentioned we were there for our anniversary, we were offered a complimentary brownie, which we were then charged for. I understand it was a busy night, but it was still a kind of disappointing experience overall to be honest. Im glad we had a gift card because it wasn't really worth the price. You're better off going to 54th st or Granite city.
