Bidra med feedbackAlways great place for food. In particular their blackened halibut Ruben
Atmosphere is great. The host was phenomenal. The special was Baha Haddock -blackened. Umm it came cold and wasn’t blackened- like at all. The prime rib was ordered medium and it came out super rare. The burger meal was perfect. We had heard great things about this place and looked forward to it as guests from Connecticut.
We waited over an hour for our entree. We’ve been there frequently, they were not busy tonight but when I expressed my exasperation to the waitress I was told the wait was because we ordered a salad and the ticket for dinner wasn’t submitted until a few minutes before “my face” revealed that I was unhappy. She didn’t pick up the bowl from my salad for 30 minutes at least, but I was at fault for ordering an appetize? I’ve waited tables, this isn’t how it works plus 20 minutes prior to the “my face” comment she’d apologized for our dinner “taking a minute”. This place isn’t worth it, even when the options are slim in the winter.
If you 're coming here intending to kick back and relax in a bar setting be careful. Hopefully things have improved but I recalled my experience and wanted to say something. I was here two summers ago with my friend, we were venting about work and stuff you know how it goes, and some guy came and yelled at us for swearing because his kids were sitting near us. When we wondered aloud why he was sitting with his family in the bar area then, a waiter very snottily went well, it 's also a restaurant, so...
Wow! Great place! Service is fast and friendly, and the food is fantastic. The price and portions are spot on. The atmosphere is like your own dining room at suppertime. This place is a great value. A little out of town but so worth the brief excursion it takes to get there.
