Grand Cafe - Bloomington

A MUST TRY – Amazing Filipino Spot with Delicious Selections! I was so glad to find this place along my journey! All meals are enough to feed at least two people! Finally, a Filipino restaurant served crispy chicken skin – it was delicious! The kare care was creamy and full of ingredients – they definitely did not skip! And ohhmygoodness, the pork bbbq was the highlight of my meal – it was fully cooked, but still juicy and NOT overhauled! It was boiled in open flame(I even ordered more zu-go cuz it was soooo good)

I've been the Grand Cafe's client for many years when it was in Bloomington only West of the Scottish Rite Consistents. Although there is no more, the mind continues at its current location in Oakland Commons. Much has changed, but the Grand Cafe is still a mysterious and magical place... still as it was before! I hope you get to the fine kitchen and the spirit of the Grand Cafe... and you never know, maybe one day I could see you too! It's not possible.

Used to eat at the old city center for decades. Finally came to this place to have a PC tablet. Food was excellent, very clean restaurant, friendly staff.

Pretty good food would come back! Orange chicken was thrilled and super good roasted rice!

Still the best eggrolls in town. Grand tray is a great appetizer tray with egg rolls, chicken wings, fried wonton and pork tidbits. Followed with sweet and sour chicken and Kung Pao. It never disappoints.
