Cantina Laredo Bloomington

Outstanding experience. Chips and salsa arrived. We looked at the brown salsa with a “what’s that” expression. Well, it was the best salsa we’ve had in a long time and we’ve been going to Mexico once or twice a year for several years. Sadly, the table side guacamole hasn’t returned yet; nevertheless, the guacamole was fresh, delicious, and good sized for three. Two of us enjoyed enchiladas. They were fresh and expertly prepared. The third had a stuffed poblano pepper wrapped in steak with rice and street corn. Once again, delicious. We had margaritas. I didn’t see how they were made but they were far superior to frozen margaritas out of a slushy machine. Our server was professional, knowledgeable, polite and fun. Service was prompt, attentive, and enjoyable. The restaurant was relatively quiet (Tuesday evening) but it is set up for friends to have fun. We’ve been to Cantina Laredo on the weekend when it was full of people enjoying themselves. All-in-all, it’s a go to place for outstanding, modern Mexican food. Strongly recommended.

David was great as our server! Food was great as well and our kids enjoyed the food as well.

The Mall of America has so many restaurants with so much potential. Many disappoint. Most have sub par food and sub par service. We scheduled this last minute on the open table app. Plenty of reservations which made me nervous, haha. We got there and were sat right away. Drinks came fast as well as the food. Server was good. Food was good. I would not hesitate to go back. Thanks for the nice meal.
