Village Gourmet Deli - Bloomfield

Really. With so many delis here it is hard to choose the right one, but this is the one. Very recommended

At the first visit of this Deli... surprising, though it's super close to where I work. I came early (and a little tired). The guy who took my order recognized it and immediately said something funny to make me laugh. Who also helped me wake up Lol. I have a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich. It was delicious. The bread was fresh, eggs perfectly cooked... and the meat was on site. I definitely come back. Great service.... Super solid food.

It's time someone has it right!! I tried to find a good deli without success. I can't believe I live in Bloomfield and missed this jewel. If you go into you, you will be welcomed and feel very welcome. The owner is a very nice guy in a few words. The quality of food is excellent. Big bread that is a must. Homemade salads you never find amywhere. If you're looking for a big deli, don't look further.

Great place to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee before you jump onto the Parkway. Definitely one of the better sandwich I had in the area. Coffee was good and they always keep a fresh pot. You also have a full deli if you want to take something for lunch, but I haven't had the chance yet.

I have been living in Bloomfield NJ for over 10 years and The Village Deli on Broad Street is simply first class all the way! Skip makes you feel welcome when you first walk in, makes you feel like family...Great sandwiches, would highly recommend this place if you are in town or just passing through, The Village Deli is just fantastic!
