Mex - Bloomfield Hills

We love mex and look forward to the later opening this year! our server raye was fantastic, we wish her a lot of success at beaus.

We wanted to celebrate a birthday at mex in februar 2020, but covid has changed our plans. we saw the menu and during the kovid noticed that mex took away my favorite dishes, carnitas. we waited for 2 years to go back to the carnitas and noticed that they were back in the menu! yay! we thought we would celebrate our jubilee at mex. when we went to our reservation, we waited a long time to be greeted to our table. and finally we were served water and waited for longer drinks. we finally ordered dinner and I asked for the long-awaited carnitas. they were out. that was super annoying since we went specifically for her carnitas. more annoying was our server, souren, who was irritated and turned off, I needed more time to choose something else. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos and didn't like them. as souren asked if I wanted to know one, I explained that the tacos were not important to me. his answer: “Have they, I get their bill.” there was no effort to apologize or offer to bring something else. this whole experience was disappointing. will not be back.

Eating is always good when we come. mex had a funny night with friends. we'll be back soon.

This was the first time it was not an excellent experience. Food was okay. Service was okay.
