Bidra med feedbackQuaint, stylish little bistro in the heart of Blenheim will surprise and delight with delicious food well presented and pleasantly served. Be sure to order the lamb Rendang but careful not to get it too spicy.
Very good Indian food. We ordered a mixed plate of appetizers and the butter chicken, also the garlic naan. So much food we couldn't finish. They have a decent wine selection as well. I would suggest ordering the medium or spicy version of the meals, as the mild version was very, very plain. Still very tasty!
My wife and I went to Mango on a Sunday for dinner because...well, most of Blenheim is shut on a Sunday. Wow, having only spend time in Blenheim during the week, I can't believe how dead it is on Sundays. As a result, Mango was quite busy, but not packed. We got a table right away. Service was kind of slow, and not all that friendly, but still got the job done. I ordered a Lamb Vindaloo (hot), and my wife ordered a Beef Rogan Josh (medium), along with some garlic naan for the table. The food did come out fairly quickly. It all was kind of underwhelming. The naan was decent, but the Lamb Vindaloo was lacking, and was nowhere near spicy. My wife's Rogan Josh also lacked some flavor. It's like the dishes were minimally spiced, which is the exact opposite of how Indian food should be. The prices were a bit high for what we got, to be honest. I know I have more visits to Blenheim in my future for work reasons, but I probably wouldn't come back here too often. I'll give it three stars, but really call it 2.5.
Very good, reasonably priced Indian. Definitely very mild heat levels (request hot if you want medium heat) but overall great food, ambience service. Tast garlic naan, Saag chicken $17.50 chana masala $15. Wide offering of local wines, and Renaissance beer on tap.
Great food but we have had to wait 1 a half hours for the last 2 delivery's, unfortunately we won't be ordering from mangos again.
