Cooks Country Kitchen - Blairsville

Before planning our trip to Blairsville for hiking and camping we explored the nearby facilities, and that was one of the places we wanted to come to breakfast because of the reviews. Unfortunately, we were there the day I think they didn't serve breakfast on Wednesday morning. Maybe I don't know about Kovid. The place has a beautiful mini-buffet-style section, where you can choose a meat and two sides, which seemed a popular option with the people fed there. Maybe we'll do something about the next visit. The food we had was simple, but still very well prepared.

A great place for a quick lunch! I went with my friend, another couple and her daughter. We had a great experience. The waitress(I wish I had seen her name) was so beautiful, the food came from HOT and delicious. The fried mushrooms are a great app, they actually make full mushrooms, I was surprised to see that. I had the seafood plate (flounder, shrimp and mussels) with onion rings and fries. The onion rings were simply the type I like, the pommes were hand cut and tasty and the seafood was really good. My friend had a really big cheeseburger (fresh patties) and pommes. My friend had chicken fried steak that he said was amazing, he made me taste the engraving on some toast and it was GOOD. Everything was great and I wish I wasn't on vacation so I could go back in. If we come back for another holiday, this place will definitely be on our list of stops.

The pork chops are thick and extremely delicate. The best cooking I ever had! Very friendly and quick service! The only problem I have with this place is that we have seen that the cook comes into the counter a few times with another employee and I don't remember anyone washing his hands... he touched the counter of this money and everything else goes on. Now I'm not sure if he did it if I can't say it, but there's something wrong with me.

Spent the weekend about 45 minutes away with family and literally randomly chose to end our trip at Cooks before heading in opposite directions across the country, and I Don't think we could have picked a better place for our departure meal. The staff was amazing, even though we showed up 30 minutes early for lunch. They never miss feel like we were imposing or putting them out in any way, when in reality, we know we were. They were all amazing, friendly, and it really helped set the vibe for the last meal we all had before heading out after what was already a great weekend. Absolutely recommend to anybody in the area.

Belinda was amazing... We absolutely loved her. She was so kind and precious to us. The food was A-mazing for real. Home cooked veggies and the best fried mushrooms and pickles I have ever eaten. Definitely recommend this friendly, comfortable, and warm restaurant.
