Boondocks Bayou Grill - Blairsville

Delicious. The creamy rubber bear was a delicious treat. The staff was friendly and gave the right attention to our table. Cool place.

Hubby had the chicken wing extreme fleshy and he liked them very much. I ate the French dip. Do not know why they put cheese on it and it was not completely melted, but it tasted good. I probably would have preferred without the cheese. The waitress said she was new, but very attentive and friendly.

Boondock is a place where I like my lunch buddies, my husband, couples who are friends of us, or even of myself. Outside it looks like an old barn, but inside it is clean and tidy, simple and spacious. The women's bathroom is clean and disabled. There is a wine/beach and plenty of space for larger parties to put tables together. The food, the most important of all, is really good and affordable. Cajun cuisine is delicious and not too much seasoned if you like more heat the kitchen is happy to accommodate. Seafood is fresh and tasteful; The grouper is really grouper, Wels is everything you can eat on Friday, and the grill is as delicious as roasted. Ribeye Steak is excellent, oysters are full and fresh, eat on the bowl or roast. It's all very good and I recommend Boondock's!

At 5:30 and it was quiet. Special of the night was rabbit with rice, gravy, 2 cookies and Koleslaw for $15.99. I thought it was a little expensive until it came out, it was half a rabbit and absolutely delish. Husband has a bbq sandwich that was also wonderful. My children got a plate of chicken strips and a plate of fish fingers that were grouped and also delish. Would definitely recommend this place. Will return. Friendly staff and they didn't make it that my girls were a little roudy, even the 3 years old when they danced. Great service wonderful food
