Bidra med feedbackDrayton Harbor Oyster Company was just the place I was hoping. The service was excellent, friendly and accommodating, the location is easy to find, and the location is beautiful, overlooking the water from any angle. But the best part was the food. I had raw and grilled oysters, and my only regret is that I couldn't eat anymore. They were so delicious, and perfectly shoved, without shell, and just the right amount of liqueur. We also had the shrimp taco that was excellent. I hadn't planned to look back on the way back, but I think we'll definitely be!
Oysters! Fresh raw or grilled. We tried different flavors first and then ordered more of our favorite chocolate curry. Your oyster soup is the best. Beautiful sea view to see sunset. It is self-served style: Put dishes in the collection box outside the terrace after eating. Make sure to separate dishes from regular garbage.
I came here because they were in the original place... the new place is much bigger and great feelings. During the pandemic I came and got out every few weeks...we came this last weekend for a friend's birthday ordered 4 dozen to go and stayed for a dozen grilled all flavors, bread and butter and fish taco and a bottle of rose it was fantastic... the staff was so energetic and wonderful.
Great spot and well worth the drive from BC or bellingham. this is my go-to for raw/grilled oysters and their drink selection is 10/10. i’ve been going here for years and since i no longer live in the area, i make special trips up there to snag a few dozen of the raw oysters. today they weren’t serving from the bay bc of recent rains and although i was sad, i appreciate DH not being willing to risk it. as a person who has been sick from oysters (not here), i am super super grateful yall aren’t willy nilly selling them. thanks for having a great staff and my apologies for all the rude customers who just don’t get bi-valves.
I came here when they were in the smaller space next door. Loved the experience including food and ambience. They have since moved to the bigger space with patio seating. We arrived at 12:30pm with the patio full and line out the door on a Thursday. No obvious signs regarding how outdoor seating works but there is a sign on each table that says to place all orders at the till. I had our dog and there was no shade so I walked off the site to get some relief for our pup. My husband in line realizes it 's first come first serve for patio seating. Whoever eyeballs a table and snatches an open table is a winner. I advised my husband to order to go in case we couldn 't get a table so we could eat at a random bench nearby. He does this and the server ends up offering the next available table to the customers behind us. I don 't understand how this works. Were they helping customers with tables or were tables first come first serve? My husband then changes the order for here. The lady says, whichever table you sees open next just go sit down and come back and tell me which table so I can bring the food over . Well as my husband starts heading towards a vacant table, another customer says, we were here first! . well we don 't know for sure but my husband is a gentleman so he let them have it and we waited some more. What this place could benefit from is hiring a hostess for peak hours to avoid confusion like this. I saw at least 5 parties walk away because they didn 't want to wait or it was too confusing as to where to order and sit. With all that said, we finally got a table 30 mins later. Thank goodness my infant was sleeping and the 5 year old was not hungry. The grilled oysters were delicious, good selections of beer and wine available and outdoor seating with umbrellas is dog friendly. Would I recommend this place? Yes the food is awesome and now you know to go have someone from your party grab a table before you even order.
