Denny's - Blackwood

My family and I have visited this restaurant several times and have always had a pleasant experience with good service. However, our most recent visit was disappointing. We were seated promptly, but had to wait nearly 10 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. The server did not introduce herself and was not wearing a name tag. After finally getting our drinks, she never returned to take our food order. We watched as she socialized with other servers instead of attending to our table. Feeling neglected, we decided to leave and pay for our drinks. It was clear that the restaurant was not busy, with only 6 tables and 4 servers working. This lack of attention to customer service is unacceptable, and we will not be returning in the future.

After taking our drink order, they brought our drinks but never returned to take our food order. We waited 30 minutes with no attention from the server, who appeared more interested in socializing with colleagues. Frustrated, we decided to leave and found the server chatting with a friend at the front counter. This lack of attention and professionalism was unacceptable, especially considering there were only a few tables occupied and multiple servers on duty. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I was disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment.
