Golden Chick - Blackwell

I always seem to get fresh food at this location which is awesome since I only get it when I work out of town

We were there around 8:45-8:50ish in the drive thru and the worker saw us pull up took forever to get to us just to tell us they were closed. I’m sorry but they’re services are terrible

My family and I dined in for the first time. We’ve been to a few different Golden Chick locations and haven’t been impressed but we’re happy to say we were all satisfied with the Blackwell location. Staff was really friendly, the dining area was clean and our food was hot, crispy and fresh. None of us had any complaints and my son actually ate his food!Kid-friendliness: The cashier who took my order was very friendly with my 3 year old. He listened to him and helped him decide what he wanted. I liked they offer the short tables and the tall. They also offer clean booster seats for the kids.

When we visited the gentleman working told us that he was working alone because they were short staffed. He told us his manager told him to close the location but he said he would handle it because he hated to close. He asked for our patience while he cooked the food and assisted other customers. Great customer service, great attitude and food was hot and delicious. Very impressed!

Five out of five stars from me! We stopped by after some fishing at a nearby by reservoir and I didn’t know what to expect. I was told the food was better than Popeyes but I was a little skeptical.I ordered a three piece meal and I knew after the first bite, I was in for a real treat! The chicken was crispy, juicy, fresh, and very flavorful. How come they don’t have any restaurants in Wichita?! Golden Chick would give all of the fried chicken restaurants in a town a run for their money.I sampled some fried catfish and was impressed as well. Having one place with good fried chicken and fried catfish is somewhat hard to find these days. They obviously have it figured out!If you’re in the area, give Golden Chick a try! You will not be disappointed.
