Preston's - Blacksburg

This could be a nice place if they had more servers. One server for nine tables isn't working out well. She tried, but just can't keep up. The atmosphere is nice but the food was just not good. The fried chicken sandwich was bland, and unfortunately cold.

I feel like everything that could have gone wrong in a restaurant went wrong with our experience. The food was bad, the service was bad, and the overall experience was bad. The food was ice cold, we never got it our drinks (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) without asking at least twice for them, and it kept getting worse and worse. Also, insane expensive prices for limited menu choices and subpar food. When they knew our experience there was not great, someone made it a point to come over to our table and said they took a percentage off the bill but never did. I see the other positive reviews for this restaurant and I hope that other people had a better experience than we did.

Horrible!!!! We reserved without realizing it was only a buffet. The food was AWEFUL. And they charged 20% gratuity for us to serve our own food and on the full cost of a $200 bottle of wine we got served when we where close to being finished eating the shoe leather and soggy flavorless vegetables. Just aweful. Do not eat here for a graduation or big event.

We booked here for my daughter's graduation dinner. It was so dissapointing. The food was disgusting . We were not aware it was a buffet only night until we arrived. The food on the buffet had turned cold and coagulated. Flies were buzzing all around the food. Probably the worst meal in my family and I ever had. Worst $200 ever spent. The fact that they call this place for dining..... Would not recommend at all!

Wow has the quality really gone down! I booked a luncheon for the 4 of us visiting for graduation. Only the buffet was open. Very limited quantity available and my guests who don't eat pork were given an option of salad, dessert, 1 soup, and dried out chicken. What a disappointment! I hope they can pull it together for Mother's Day Brunch!
