Viva - Blackpool

I am amazed at how this restaurant stays in business! I ordered my food and drinks through an app, and an hour later a blonde girl brought out just one main course instead of the starters or the other main course. There was no cutlery on the tables before the starter was brought out. I had to ask two different staff members where the rest of my food was because only one plate came out. Despite the restaurant being beautiful, the way they run their service is extremely disappointing.

Our pizzas did not arrive until 7:45pm and we were told there would be a wait on the platters. We did not have any plates or napkins on our table, and by the time we received them, the lights were turned off. We had to use our phone lights to share the food on our plates. The platters we ordered were supposed to be 6 separate ones to share amongst 2 tables, but we received what they claimed were 3 doubles. This was very poor and not worth the money. Despite the disappointing dining experience, the show itself was great and the staff were very helpful. If I were to go again, I would just watch the show and skip the meal. We felt that our service may have been poor because we only had pizza platters, but considering we spent over £400, it was disappointing that our food did not come out on time with plates and everything ready for us to enjoy before the show. I don't see the issue with having a cake on the table and a few gifts to open; these small details are important for creating happy memories.

I have just re booked for an event cancelled last year. Spoke to Jill who couldn't help enough. Even though my money had been refunded to my Viva account and ticket prices going up slightly, she honoured last years price. We would have been happy to pay the small amount more considering the losses they have faced but its great customer service to offer to match. Jill is a credit to you, cant wait till we come in August Take care xx

Poorly trained SIA door staff. after a couple of hours at at works Christmas Party, I went to the Gents to find a Man with a door open at the end of the toilets' Could have been a janitor!. He asked me to pop in for a random Drug search. I asked to see his badge and he told me. he seen me selling drugs!!!! I said I would have a public search with the Manager present. He told me he need to search me in the toilets. again I said lets go to a public place. He then radio for back up and told me the Manager was downstairs. i went down stair and their was only a ticket sell. i left to stop any distress to my company. the door staff member then asked the other door man to check the upper floor then started to verbally abuse me on the door and point to the camera. He still refused to state his ISA badge number. I have tanned skin.

Went with friends last night to see the Musicals show. Can only give the show Five Stars. It was very entertaining. The Cast were excellent. Staff were lovely. Only downside was we thought drink prices were a little overpriced.
