Man Lee Chinese - Blackburn with Darwen

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The 10-inch munchy box I ordered had undercooked chips that were still raw and covered in grease. The chicken balls were tiny, the wings had no seasoning, and only the soft noodles and curry sauce were edible. Everything else went in the trash. Spending £17.50 on this meal was definitely not worth it. I will not be ordering from here again. The only positive note was that the delivery was fast.

I had enjoyed a meal from this restaurant a couple of years ago, so when it reopened recently I decided to try their takeaway option. The delivery was quick, but unfortunately the quality of the food did not meet my expectations. Despite spending over £60, the chips were just okay, the chicken and beef chow mein were bland and hard to distinguish between, and the salt and pepper chicken wings seemed old and reheated. Overall, I felt disappointed and like I had been ripped off. The only saving grace was the free prawn crackers, which were tasty.

As amazing as always. The food is superb and the service is excellent with a friendly attitude. The appetizers are delightful and the main courses are delicious and fulfilling.

This restaurant is an old favourite and it is great to see it re-opened, serving Darreners again. We went for a family meal (8 people) and everyone really enjoyed their meals. Trevor and Mandy were great hosts. I had chicken lettuce wraps to start which were very tasty and light. For main, I tried King Prawn in Kung Po with Cashew Nuts and think this is my new 'go to ' dish, it was excellent. All was washed down with a couple of bottles of Tsingtao which perfectly complements Chinese food. I rate Man Lee as one of the best in the area; it is not flashy, the food is authentic, service good and everything is reasonably priced. Recommended.

We went for a family birthday meal last week. and found it dirty and not pleasant. The only noodles I’ve ever had that are tasteless, the portion sizes are laughable and the sauce couldn’t be watered down more. Very disappointed with the food and will not be returning considering the price is not proportionate to the food quality or the size. Complete waste of money. Very expensive for the portion sizes and considering the state of the place.
