Bidra med feedbackDelicious restaurant and ale house that surprisingly specializes in fried chicken. Black Mountain Kitchen is in a great location in downtown Black Mountain. They have a nicely sized patio out back that is great on nice days. The menu is unique and delicious with a focus on fried chicken, which doesn 't disappoint. Try the fried hot chicken livers if you 're feeling adventurous, or a traditional fried bird if you want to play it safe. My only complaint is that their hot chicken, despite having amazing flavor, was not spicy at all. The beer menu is extensive as well with some unique offerings.
The food was usually very good. Fried chicken, burgers eaten by most of our group. The riders were very understated and a guy returned his back and got a sort of attitude from the employee. He has new pommes that weren't much better. Or good food. Big Mac n cheese. The order at the bar thing is very convenient. Music was too loud for the room, but the musicians were very good. 4 stars because of food and volume BUT I caused the fries to have a big group and they tried to get quickly food what they did. So, I would imagine that this is not a regular matter, and some people like loud music, so my opinion with this perspective.
Little menu, but we don't mind? delicious food!! We had the wings, the chicken sandwich (Yum), fries and notes with secret decadence?. Several large local brews on tap. Amazing place to pack drinks and food during the tour in downtown. Great service! I must love it if the bartender remembers your name and thank you with name. Can't wait to come back!
Beer and beer selection were good. No complaints about the staff or the service. Some burgers and some chicken wings were absolutely terrible. One of the worst meals I've ever seen in a restaurant. The chicken was so dry, it was not edible and just threw away. Burgers were advertised as Smash-Burger, but tasted like a frozen Generikaburger from the local supermarket freezer compartment. Based on the shape and meat properties, there was definitely not a crushed cooking technique as advertised. Maybe we caught her on a day. Would be a nice place to grab a beer and hang up with a friend, but would avoid eating unless something changes. If there were 1 star on food and 3-4 for the rest, a total of 3 gave.
I just walked in and the bartender was helpful. I asked for a beer recommendation and wasn't disappointed with the Kolsch. The chicken sandwich was on the spot and so were the wings. I'd come back here.
