Sapcote Garden Centre - Blaby

This garden center is highly recommended by a family member for their beautiful Christmas decorations. Today, they are all available at half price. It is a very lovely place to visit.

Popped in for breakfast. Staff pleasant. Food arrived fairly quickly even though it was Xmas eve and the place was busy. Food was good, although I would have preferred by beans a little hotter.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was blown away by the beautiful Christmas display, which I believe is the best I've seen in a garden center. I also decided to grab a bite to eat, and I had a delightful experience with a friendly young lady at the checkout. The food was absolutely delicious.

Visited on a Sunday, the cafe was busy but not full. There were around 6 staff on the tills/waiting on, which if you ask me is plenty, however the queue was horrendous... and no one seemed to care? At one point, there were around 15 people in the queue, queuing by the double doors, so they kept opening because people were standing in the way. The girl on the till seemed lovely but stressed as someone rarely came to help her (there was a spare till, despite the very large queue no staff seemed to want to help reduce it). No one came to clear our table (Waited a good 20 minutes), after i queued for 15 in the queue (this was when it was shorter) so we had to clean it ourselves. At one point i watched Halloween decorations fall onto a man, worse still, i watched a thick trickle of water poor down the back of a poor unsuspecting woman in the outside cafe bit it was as if someone stood above her with a watering can for a good 10 seconds!!My jacket potato was okay reasonably priced but dry. It was the same with the side salad, the cucumber was dry as if they prepared the salad on the plate hours before.The burger was expensive and average.We must've visited on a bad day but we're not in a rush to come again soon.

I visited this center today with my daughter, who was looking to buy winter vegetables for her garden, and I was admiring the beautiful Christmas decorations. The layout was fantastic and, in my opinion, superior to other centers in the area. We ended our visit with a delicious lunch before heading back home. I hope to return again, especially closer to Christmas!
