Bidra med feedbackLamb keema tasted like Bolognese. Was advertised as sharp, but it was so mild and sweet. Dhal was tasteless and I am not sure that they have tempered the spices/chillis in ghee before serving and I would expect that from an expensive joint like Asha. I must say the garlic chili chicken grill was delicious, but rest was disappointing. I had to wait 20 minutes just to ask for water what was not great.
Amazing food and service. We celebrated my fathers 60 in a private area.
My guests and I had a nice evening. The food was excellent and the service was very good. Our waitress was also very helpful with the menu and explained the dishes we were not familiar with.
Very cold in there, food plentiful but neither hot nor outstanding, tables and furnishings tired. Lunch is not cheap at nearly £26 per head. Slightly irritated by the fact that Executive Lunch deal includes 1/2 pint beer and waiter asked me if I wanted to by a pint, so beware of upselling.
Having eaten at other Indian restaurants in Birmingham I was hoping to be more wowed by the food but whilst It was perfectly nice it did not stand out as great
