Roast Valley - Birkenhead New Zealand

Have been passed this place, but never called in, I didn't know what we were missing! It's a big airy shop meal details on wall are easily readable The owners were very friendly, what I really liked was that you can get small, medium and large sized meals. We chose the roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, and roast chicken, the accompanying vegs were cooked just right, and service was very quick Will definitely be back so once again we can be me and three. Took home some pork scratchings. Oh yum yum yum<br/

We have been to Roast Valley for the last 2 Sunday’s rather than standing over the stove on a Sunday cooking a roast for ourselves.<br/ <br/ The café is tidy and clean with plenty of room to sit.<br/ <br/ We have the small potion each which is ample for us, a good size portion of veggie’s consisting of 1 potato halved, 1 wedge of Kumara 1 wedge of Pumpkin, peas carrots and Broccoli. All with gravy and sauce and meat of your choice (beef, pork, lamb, chicken, ham on the bone, or lamb shanks)<br/ <br/ The only disappointment would be the weighing of meat, I have heard of portion control but its meat they’re selling not bags of weed…so no need for the scales. <br/ <br/ All in all its good value for money, tasty and convenient we will go again.

The best place ever... The food and service is amazing... Honestly the best on the Shore and I've tried many roast places... Place is clean and inviting... The owners are very friendly.. Service very professional.. The food is absolutely delicious... Highly recommend this place.. Never been disappointed fresh delicious well made food....

Delicious food with friendly service..pity that more people aren't beating it's doors done. Roast beef, chicken, lamb, ham and pork (with crackling) roast vegetables such as kumera, potatoes, pumpkin and much more. Greens too.. broccoli, peas and others. It's a huge menu even great for vegetarians..my lunch partner is a vegetarian but each to their own. Plenty of drinks to choose from..and dessert too .. Check it out I am sure you'll be glad you did.
