Cafe Köppel Konditorei - Bingen

We had asked for an appointment at the café because we were still looking for a pastry for our wedding cake. We have said our ideas, some of which could not be met, which was all right. At the end, when it was about the price of the cake, we almost fell off the chair. We then also said that we need to think it again and have an appointment with another confectioner. Then we were told we would have to pay €10 for half an hour. We were appalled, apart from the fact that we almost only told ourselves what we were thinking and the café was so empty to finally demand a consultancy fee because we should have a direct order, impossible! I have no objection to paying an advisory fee if it had been somewhere or if we had been informed at least before. But I can't!

Very nice family hotel in the center of Bingen. Super delicious cakes a nice, cozy café!

The hotel is, the name suggests it is housed in the same house with a confectionery and is also operated by the same family. The house is located in the old town of Bing, which has advantages and disadvantages. Positive is of course the good location right in the center. However, the disadvantage is that there are only very few (two) parking spaces on site so that you usually need to avoid public parking. The hotel rooms are functionally furnished, the rooms have an average hotel size. Breakfast is particularly recommended as various products of confectionery are offered, unfortunately in a small number. That's just three stars.
