Went for only one night. Big comfy bed and nice room. Just a little niggle no biscuits supplied which for £140 a night was a bit mean!! Spotlessly clean and quiet even though it was on the main street. Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 4

I took my parents for Sunday lunch to the Kings Head. Great food and great atmosphere. I had Roast Beef. Very nice! Service: 5 Location: 5

Good atmosphere for the football and decent selection of beers. However I wouldn’t recommend eating here. It took a long for our food to arrive, and when it didn’t it wasn’t what we expected. Was told the chicken burger was not fried and just a grilled breast, but it was in fact fried. I also asked for thick chips instead of fries, and they brought it out with fries. Not worth complaining about on a busy Sunday afternoon after having waited for so long. The burger was generally poor quality as well, like from a burger van.

I called in on the off chance for a Sunday lunch today and it was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful even when run off their feet. Highly recommend this spot, great food and great atmosphere. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
