Max's Market - BIGFORK

Initially, I wanted to give this place a 5-star review, but I learned that on Happy Cow, 5 stars are reserved for fully vegan or vegetarian establishments. That said, I am truly grateful to have this little gem in Bigfork! They offer so many of my favorite items and brands, including Miyokos, Back to Nature, Oatly, and Sweet Earth, just to name a few. I even discovered Jenseits sausages at this store! Plus, they feature locally made products like Bäckkäse and Kombucha, which adds to the community feel. The fresh produce is stunning, and they also sell vegan items from local bakers right around the corner. Seriously, thank you for being here!

I discovered this hidden gem while camping in Bigfork, and I ended up visiting three times in just two days! They offer a diverse selection of food, drinks, and even some fun gifts. It's definitely the best vegan food I've found in Bigfork!

This café serves fantastic coffee drinks—make sure to try the salted caramel latte! The food is even more impressive; we enjoyed the classic breakfast burrito and sauerkraut toast. We also picked up a couple of cookies for the trip home! It’s a dog-friendly spot, and it's a wonderful find to discover vegan options in rural Montana. Although they advertise as fully vegan, there is honey available on the menu. Aside from that, everything else is completely vegan!

This local food market offers fresh, regional cuisine, wonderful gifts, ready-to-eat lunches, take-home dishes, delicious baked goods, and organic beer and wine! It's a one-stop shop that everyone must visit!
