Nawal's Mediterranean Grille, Gourmet Cupcakes And Desserts

Very delicious medical cuisine. I also heard some of the other customers use words like fantastic and great to describe their meal. If you are a dessert, the cupcakes are a solid choice.

My best friend who is randomly a vegetarian came to visit, so she took to this place to try it for the first time and it was amazing!! I had Mediterranean food before, but never an Egyptian takes it. The owner was pleasant and the atmosphere was sweet and had the cleanest bathroom that was amazing smell! The spinach cake was warm, flaakey with the best texture and taste. The spicy lentil soup of the day was so comforting and the melange of spices made my taste buds dance with joy. The Egyptian tea was that in a special stay hot all the time we eat, kept us warm from the cold and with the digestion, as we throw more food in our mouth. Falafel had pieces of garlic that was a very special pleasure!! And Koshary was for this the first time to try it, and not disappointed! Got a togo of lamb gyro for my husband and was nearby, the sandwich whole for it was so delicious!! It's definitely a hidden gem, but it's worth going to all the other restaurants in Big Rapids. Very recommended!!

Great food! Very friendly, hard working staff. Excitable, but elegant. Very clean, well maintained restaurant. Nawal staff also welcomed us on departure with hugs!

This is definitely the best Mediterranean place around. I am originally from Canada, so I know a bit about Mediterranean food (big quantity of Lebanese immigrants there), but Nawal's food is amazing. She is scary and entertaining while cooking my Shawarma plate. The food is made from fresh ingredients and its cooking style is authentic Egyptian. A note on the decor, it is very beautiful and you can say that it is obviously proud to be from Egypt. I would recommend it 100% to anyone who thinks to check it.
