La Cucaracha - Bidart

Friendly service, delicious food. I had tartare de boeuf, with serano for beginners. with delicious Provenienz rosé.

Excellent local restaurant. Every time we visit we stop by. Food and service are always on point. Remember this is a beach area so it's more relaxed than you might be used to but no more so than any other place.

Make sure that you make a reservation for this popular restaurant, as the locals love this place! One of the best steaks I have ever eaten, and the Duck was also divine. Our waitress, CC, was gorgeous and made sure that our experience was brilliant....Her menu advice was impeccable, and the Rhum Babba she recommended was a highlight.

Just a quick 8 minute drive from the center of Biarritz is this wonderful little restaurant. It is about 100 meters from the Bidart beach and thus allows a before or after dinner stroll on the beach (we did both). The food, staff, menu, wine selection, and ambience was outstanding. We sat outside and had the beautiful evening surround us. We shared a couple of appetizers and then a rib steak for two, it was perfect!Again, I highly recommend that you try this little gem!

A great menu and friendly staff make the Cucaracha our favourite lunchtime dining choice. The menu is packed with local dishes, plenty of fish and fantastic moules farcies. There are three or four good restaurants near the beach in Bidart. We have tried most of them and keep coming back to La Cucaracha because we've always had a great experience and a warm welcome.
