Il Rifrullo - BIBBONA

Looked ok. Saw that the parking outside was almost full. Thankfully they had a huge parking lot. It was lunch time, through the week and it was filled up with locals, which was a good sign. They didn’t serve pizza for lunch time. Food tasted ok. Prices are cheap. Dogs allowed. The young waitresses were not at all friendly. They didn’t feel the need to be nice and friendly as they obviously had enough locals dropping in. A smile always makes you feel good and welcome, which you won’t find it here.

Even though it was early July and situated by the roadside, the restaurant was entirely occupied by locals. The service was good and considering the price, so was the food. Loads of parking, clean etc etc.

Today we arrived in Tuscany after a long drive and we were longing for some good pasta. We found this restaurant and were surprised by the good quality and hospitality. We ended up with a typical Tuscan starter and two large and delicious pizza's. Definitely worth remembering this place.

I have been in this restaurant for over 30 years, simple genuine.
