Bidra med feedbackIt is a good restaurant in this area. South canara style Vegetarian dishes are served here. Good service. Good ambiance.
Once a good place for breakfast but this time around was disappointed, non of the breakfast items we’re good it’s high time that they look into it , the dosa their specialty now comes with sprinkled chattey power rather then the paste that they used to put , that really changes the whole taste ,the Pongal was missing and in its place was puliogere , was again dissatisfied as Pongal was one of their items that was really tasty .
Its one of the oldest restaurant serving great south Indian dishes. The breakfast and snacks are great. However the lunch/ meals or chapatis/ puris are not upto the mark. I recommend the following dishes 1. Ghee Roast 2. Uppitu 3. Masala Dosa 4. Idly, wada 5. Coffee
It is a temple town and what else to expect in a good restaurant other than the usual south Indian vegetarian food. We expected a typical Udupi type of atmosphere and food and they did not disappoint us. We had breakfast and later dinner both were good enough. The waiters were friendly. The ambience of the restaurant was easily the most notable aspect altogether a cosy atmosphere for the family on a pilgrimage. They have family enclosures too I think.
Food was fine, but the service was too poor. We had to order and wait. Despite knowing Kannada, sometimes we didnt understand what servers said and vice versa. Also majorly people didnt prefer hotels, so they struggled to serve when the customers were high The self service area in the ground floor was better as we could take food and eat and was faster. But the place was limited in ground floor
