Krispy Krost - Bezirk Zuerich

Krispy Krost is one of the many new shops, food, and retail outlets at the newly, renovated Oerlikon train station. Located at the street level entrance, Krispy Krost has a walk-up counter to place your order from the variety of Flammkuchen (thin, crispy pizza bread with toppings) products on their menu priced around 7.50-9CHF. There are several table stands if you would like to enjoy your items there, or they will conveniently package your flammkuchen to go. The gentleman working on my visit was very, very friendly and appreciative of my visit. It probably takes about 4-5 minutes for your item to bake, but the end product is a very tasty and enjoyable snack that will hold you over in-between meals. I had the ‘Barcelona’ which was topped with spicy chorizo sausage and other items and I very much enjoyed it. A great snack to go!

We had 3 different "flam kuchen" and ingredients where fresh, very tasty and staff was very friendly. The portions are enough for regular hunger but due to great taste we couldn't resist to order second round... Great to go solution...

Next to the classic snacks, the local competition, there is something special here. various tasty supplements on thin, pizza-like brot, similar to a flame-cake. so far I have tried the helsinki (with lachs) and the barcelona (with speck) and can recommend both warmly! they are sold directly from the pizza oven and before serving still after customer shower with seasoned or refined sauces. a visit is definitely worth it!

Helsinki my absolute favorit! very freshly crisp and also some new. is really recommended. the service is very sympathetic and set up. I'm sure there'll be more paintings going to eat. more so
