Maharajah - Bexley

I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The portion sizes were generous, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the future!

On Saturday, September 11, 2021, five of us went to this restaurant for dinner and I must say that I am happy we did. Right from the start, the food and service were outstanding, and our waiter Pervez went above and beyond for us. He had a fantastic attitude towards customers, which is exactly what you want when dining out. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Finally, 3 of us (kew, lee and I) returned after a slight 10 years (probably 15 years) after the maharajah, since we came last! the maharajah was our regular food spot after drinking in bexley village, before we all left or changed jobs, many had a good night there, so last night was the test to see if it had changed and lived up to its earlier great memories. first, the restaurant is now bigger, they have added an additional bit on the back, so its now actually huge in comparison to earlier. our favorite little chat star that we all agreed was not the same as we remember it was missing from the kick he had in the past with his new design, but that was made easy with the main course. we ordered everything we could remember so that the chicken jalfrezi, chicken madras, lamb gosht silsila, tandoori mix, onion bahjees, keema naan, bullet (chilli) naan, various rice, popadoms and the usual and it was fantastic. all washed with cobra bier. a firm for the 3 of us, but we managed to eat quite a lot. as always the employees were amazing (I might even have recognized some of them when we visited 10-15 years ago). anyway happy christmas to all in the maharajah, it was great to visit again after so long time!

We had a fantastic meal at the restaurant, one of the best we've had in a while. A new chef started tonight, and it's not just for Valentine's Day - he will be the main chef from now on. I highly recommend giving the Maharajah another try if you haven't had an excellent meal there in the past. The food was excellent.

We ordered a take away, the food was delicious. the experience was terrible. first at the arrival both paper bags open when the supplier got them from his holder on his motorcycle and the result two dishes were everywhere. about my clothes, my curse, over the kitchen worktops. when I telephoned the restaurant, there was not exactly an apology received. they offered first on the next order, we received two free dishes. I suggested we didn't pay for the courts. there was no excuse for the chaos. When I sat down to eat, my mushroom was fat and my madras was a ktikka. very fast we got two dishes a madras and rice.
