Xi'an Beverly Hills

We went there with a large group and the food was very good. This is American-Chinese food. Not authentic, but good. Drinks are also relatively good and the few we tasted were yummy. Service was a bit slow, utensils were not as clean as we would have liked l. We had to keep asking for knives, chopsticks,….. There is no valet parking and the street parking can be difficult. Fortunately there is a city parking structure on cannon that is a very short walk to the restaurant. We found the prices to be a bit high. Will go there for a special occasions only. They made the size of dishes smaller and increased the price. I ordered kung pao beef which was my favorite for several years. The portion was almost half.

If you are Chinese... don't eat it. This is Chinese food purely for foreigners, but foreigners must think it's good... The name is Xi'an and the food is Cantonese and Sichuan food... It has nothing to do with Xi'an...

I’m sorry! Hate to leave a 3 star on a small business, but the food is not great, especially for the price. Based on other reviews, staff seems very professional and kind. However, the food is flavorless. I got the pad Thai and it was just noodles with egg- no “pad Thai” flavor at all…. The duck was alright , but came with a soggy tortilla and a small portion of meat.
