Bidra med feedbackA great place to visit when you are ready to pay over $300 for a high quality culinary experience. The staff was very friendly and the portions full of taste and reflect the skill and quality of the ingredients. Décor was not an eyeore and seating was very comfortable. The whole meal was very satisfying
Every time I was here, the sushi was always great, and the service was always great! I have lived in japan for a long time and the only thing that bothers me is the prizes.
The chef is very arrogant and rude. he does not even answer some of the customer questions. he tends to be really nice to rich customers. the ingredients are amazing, but cooking is not more than good. not really worth the price. bad experience, will never come back again.
I was in many Michelin star restaurants around the world, including several in Japan, and I know Japanese cuisine very well? at least as a dedicated aficionado, if not a cook. But so many Japanese restaurants to which I was, I was still so enthusiastic and impressed by Chef Urasawa-san. The diversity, creativity and the beautiful simplicity of his offers, including his nigiri, was simply wonderful. The truffle ice cream was from the world? I said, "Wow"? at least 15 times while I ate it, and I was speechless after that, that's how great it was. Each individual dish was of the highest quality, and the cook showed careful attention to details in each individual dish. I felt like I had been there in Japan for the whole time! It is really amazing to have this quality of restaurant in LA. It's the restaurant you just expect to find in Tokyo, NYC or Paris! It was worth more than the cost; in fact, some restaurants cost even more money, but they are not almost as big as these. I can't wait to go back. Bravo to Chef Urasawa, I beg your championship!
If you love sushi and want an amazing experience that you will remember forever, this is the place to go. This really is the end all be all of any meal, period. It is the reason why I want to be rich. So that I could eat here once a month for the rest of my life. My only complaint was that I felt like it was so much amazingness packed in to one night and I wished I could break it up into four different meals and go for an hour a night for four nights so I could draw out the savoring of every melt-in-your-mouth piece. It was incredible fish and service but just so much food, and i can eat a lot. I will be back, though, for another special occasion soon. I think the bill was around $700 for 2 of us, with a bottle of sake. Every morsel of fresh fish was delightful.
